Founded in 2015 by Sydney-born chef Emma Wilkins, Chicken Taste began as a passion project to document and celebrate the diverse culinary traditions of Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
After working in restaurants across Melbourne, Queenstown and Fiji, Emma noticed how many incredible local ingredients and techniques were being overlooked in home cooking. She set out to make these accessible to everyday cooks.
Today, our team of food writers, photographers and recipe testers work together to bring you authentic recipes from across our region - from Aboriginal bush tucker to modern Pacific fusion dishes like our signature Chicken Road recipe.
